Overview
The big data revolution has profoundly changed the way financial markets operate, with financial data arising from a plurality of sources in ever increasing speed, volume and dimension. Extracting information from such enormous financial datasets requires sophisticated tools from econometrics, machine learning and statistics that go beyond traditional data processing techniques.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together leading academics from around the world to discuss their latest achievements in the econometric analysis of financial big data. In doing so, the program will provide a platform for exchange and interaction between local and international experts and stimulate future collaborations.
