Hailed by the Financial Times as a festival with a “finely hewn sense of craft,” Intimacy of Creativity (IC) – The Bright Sheng Partnership: Composers Meet Performers in Hong Kong returns for another innovative season from 24 June 2023 to 2 July 2023, presented in partnership with the renowned Curtis Institute of Music.
IC 2023 Call-for-Scores
We are now accepting applications from emerging composers for the 2023 season (application deadline: 15 December 2022). Up to three selected Composer Fellows will join Prof. Bright Sheng, IAS Helmut and Anna Pao Sohmen Professor-at-Large, and distinguished guest artists to present and revise their music through in-depth on-campus open discussions at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and a concert at the newly opened Shaw Auditorium.
